Dorchester Abbey, Oxfordshire

One of the panels of 14th century glass in the east window of the
abbey church of St Peter and St Paul, Dorchester-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
It shows St Birinus preaching.
In 635 AD Birinus, who had been sent by the Pope, preached to the King of Wessex, who was converted.
The present church may stand on the site of the orignal church built by Birinus.
