St Peter & St Paul, East Harling, Norfolk

To see the details of this marvellous glass, click here (1.4Mb).
A panel from the east window showing the Nativity of Christ. The Blessed Virgin Mary kneels at the foot of the manger.
St Joseph stands on the right. Behind are two women, Zebel and Salome. The ox and ass are beside the manger.
The glass dates  from c.1480 and is of the Norwich School of glass painters.
The glass was taken to the great house at some stage, which may explain its survival during the Civil War.
Although substantially complete, careful examination of the elements surrounding the main image shows a bit of a jumble.
