This attractive short book, published by the Society in 2002, discusses the famous thirteenth-century cathedral of Albi, and its impact on modern (nineteenth- and twentieth-century) church architecture.
In addition there is a discussion of a different building style of the period, namely the use of diaphragm arches, and also an appendix looking at an unpublished drawing of Sir Giles Gilbert Scott relating to Albi.
